Our Clinic
Assurance Skin, Laser & Aesthetics is a specialist dermatology clinic at Camden Medical Centre, centrally located in Singapore and is easily-accessible via a 2-minute walk from Orchard Boulevard MRT station. Our clinic is helmed by Dr Wong Soon Tee, a consultant dermatologist with over 30 years of clinical experience and an adjunct assistant professor at the National University of Singapore.
Assurance Skin, Laser and Aesthetics offers a broad range of medical, surgical and aesthetic dermatology services. Our aim is to provide warm and friendly personalised care in our comfortable and purpose-built consulting, laser and operating rooms. Every effort has been taken to ensure a patient’s comfort and safety during consultations and procedures.
We have access to the modern Day Surgery Centre within Camden Medical Centre when patients need to have skin surgery. At the same time, skin surgery can be performed in our clinic’s well-equiped operating room under local or topical anaesthesia. Overnight stays as inpatient to hospital are not required.
Our clinic is Medisave / Medishield accredited Day Surgery Centre. We can do E-filing for surgeries done in our clinic.

What is a Dermatologist?
There are thousands of skin diseases and most appear as red patches or spots, so it takes the trained eyes of a dermatologist to make accurate diagnoses for these skin problems.
Dermatologists are specialists in both medical and cosmetic skin problems. They are trained to be “diagnostic investigators” in order to properly pick up the many skin signs that are manifestations of internal diseases during consultation.
In addition, dermatologists are also trained skin surgeons. They are trained to manage skin cancers surgically and non-surgically according to international guidelines. Dermatologists also have the knowledge, experience and wisdom to know when to do surgery and send specimens for laboratory analysis and when not to intervene too aggressively.
Every dermatologist spends 6 to 8 years to complete his or her specialist’s training, first in general medicine and later in medical and surgical dermatology. These include training on the management of skin, hair and nail issues. They undergo rigorous assessment and examinations before the Ministry of Health in Singapore grants them accreditation to be a dermatologist.
Dr. Wong has been an accredited dermatologist since 1998 and is, understandably, an expert skin specialist in dealing with all kinds of skin problems, be they medical, surgical or cosmetic.
